Review Greentech Festival 2024 in Berlin
From June 17-19, the Greentech Festival took place again in Berlin, and of course the Audi Environmental Foundation was there as well. At Audi's People Hub, we presented our current Greenovation projects at the largest sustainability conference in Europe.
In addition to the exhibition of current Greenovation projects, a panel discussion provided deeper insights into the joint eDNA project of the Wilderness International Foundation with ETH Zurich. A new method of biodiversity monitoring uses drone technology to study biodiversity in the treetops of rainforests in Peru. With the help of this technology, a database can be built up to determine the health of primeval forests, to monitor them regularly and thus protect them in the long term. The talk also presented the new project milestone in cooperation with the start-up Nunam. Prodip Chatterjee, co-founder of Nunam, explained the connection between second-life applications of e-batteries and women's empowerment with e-rickshaws in India. Many exciting impressions motivated us to continue working for a sustainable future by supporting innovative technologies.
