The Audi Environmental Foundation in dialogue at Vogue NEXT 2022
As the title of the event "VogueNEXT" suggests, it was all about tomorrow. The focus was on ideas for a sustainable future (in the fashion industry) and impulses on the topics of digitalization and diversity. The guests at the event, including personalities from the fashion and creative industries as well as from business and society, discussed how we can shape our world sustainably for the future.
The Audi Environmental Foundation was also present and, together with two project partners, presented the following initiatives: the Cleanup Mission, the waste collection campaign with the green start-up everwave, and the Second Life use of discarded lithium-ion batteries, a cooperation with the German-Indian start-up Nunam.
In a panel talk moderated by Rabea Schif, Matthias Roßmann spoke with Clemens Feigl, CEO and Co-Founder of everwave, and, Mea Hoffmann, Curator for the Vitra Design Museum, on the topic of "Plastic: History, Dangers and Opportunities of Plastic."
The closing of the conference was dominated by "Second Life". Fittingly, Prodip Chatterjee, co-founder of Nunam, and Alexander Kupfer, who works on sustainable product concepts at Audi, presented in an interactive workshop how to reuse discarded batteries and give them a second life.
