Audi Environmental Foundation at GREENTECH FESTIVAL 2022

The Audi Environmental Foundation was represented at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL for the third time. Under the motto #TogetherWeChange, from June 22 to 24, 2022, everyone who wants to create a livable future with the help of green technologies was invited to the grounds of the former Berlin-Tegel Airport. The perfect opportunity to present the Foundation's funded projects to an international audience!

The Audi Environmental Foundation presented the young company and funding project Nunam at the festival: Nunam electrifies rickshaws with second-life batteries from test vehicles in the Audi e-tron test fleet and uses them for charitable purposes in India. Also active in the field of green technology is the NGO Litro de Luz Brasil. Litro de Luz has set itself the task of equipping villages in the Amazon region, which have no electricity supply, with solar light. In addition to Nunam and Litro de Luz Brasil, we also presented the URBANFILTER funding project. This sophisticated modular filter system is designed to significantly reduce the entry of environmentally harmful particles such as microplastics and other solids and pollutants into the sewage system.

The Audi Foundation for the Environment was pleased to once again be part of Europe's largest sustainability festival. The multitude of panels, keynotes and companies, all of which are committed to a sustainable future, also inspire us every year to stand up for a sustainable future and promote green technologies.
